Upholstery Cleaning
Cleaning for commercial seating and upholstered furniture, with the method chosen by fabric and furniture type.
Upholstered seating takes daily wear from guests, patients, students, and staff. During a walkthrough we review the furniture and fabrics, then agree on the method for each type of piece. Commercial upholstery cleaning can cover office chairs, lobby and waiting-room seating, restaurant booths and banquettes, hotel and hospitality seating, healthcare waiting-area furniture, and school furniture. The usual sequence is vacuuming to remove loose soil, spot treatment, and then a cleaning method suited to the fabric: hot-water extraction for fabrics that tolerate moisture, or low-moisture and dry-compound methods for fabrics that do not. Manufacturer care tags guide the choice. Common codes are W (water-based cleaners), S (solvent-based cleaners only), WS (either), and X (vacuum or brush only, no liquid cleaning). Before any treatment, a hidden area is tested for colorfastness. Drying time depends on the fabric and method, so upholstery cleaning is often scheduled after hours so seating is dry before it is used again. Some stains and odors may not fully come out, and no specific result is promised before review. Leather and vinyl need different care than fabric and are reviewed separately, as is any furniture contaminated by biohazards. Scope and method are confirmed per fabric and furniture type, and every quote is reviewed by staff.
